Indigo (formerly Independent Living Centre WA) is a leading provider of Assistive technology (devices and equipment), home modifications, therapy, and professional education. As part of the Digital Services team, you will work across the business supporting users at two Perth metro sites. THE ROLE

The Business Analyst will be an integral part of the Digital Services (DS) Team, working closely with the business operations and reporting to the DS Manager.

This role will provide strategic and technical leadership, liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate and develop business requirements and translate into highly technical and detailed scopes ready for implementation by our internal development team.

  • Prepare functional requirement specifications
  • Prepare high-level design documentation
  • Assist with scoping of the effort and timescale estimates for technical development activities
  • Engaging with stakeholders to fully understand their needs and advise how requirements will be implemented
  • Working with the dev team to elaborate stories, answer questions, and provide information for what needs to be delivered
  • Use data gathered via workshop facilitation, elicitation, data analysis, and modelling to provide recommendations to stakeholders on improvements and gaps in data quality, process, and testing
  • Provide technical and operational support to the internal development team.

This role will be based out of our Nedlands and East Perth offices, both of which have great access to public transport links. As an organisation, we also offer work-from-home flexibility to help you balance your life.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years experience in a Business Analyst role working on business applications, ideally within a software dev environment
  • Hands-on experience in process and systems testing
  • Proven ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements including knowledge of writing software requirements and test specifications
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people at various seniority levels
  • Be available to work on-site in Perth
