Indigo Corporate Video
Indigo was originally founded in 1977, as the Independent Living Centre WA by Ms Freda Jacob. Originally established as a not for profit information and advisory service for assistive equipment and technology.
Since it's renaming and rebranding, Indigo continues to be a leading provider of assistive technology (devices and equipment), home modifications, therapy and training services. We have a growing national presence with the largest National Equipment Database (NED) in Australia with more than 18,000 products, which underpins the Australian geat2GO devices and equipment program.
Indigo has a partner organisation iLA (formerly Independent Living Assessment). The focus of iLA is to support the community to make genuine and informed decisions through the provision of independent information, navigation, and capacity-building initiatives.
iLA's initiatives include LiveUp, AT Chat, KeepAble, Regional Assessment Services, Village Hubs Grants, NDIA Participant Engagement Panel, and Sector Support and Development.
