Indigo Partners with Autism Association

25 August 2022

In 2022 Indigo commenced working with the Autism Association’s AIM team,  the only specialist Autism employment service in Australia, to look at various employment opportunities at Indigo for Autism Association clients.

Indigo’s Business Improvement Team (BIT) recently required staff to assist in providing surge capacity for a quickly growing project, and the Autism Association was able to recommend individuals to join the Indigo team working on the National Equipment Database (NED askned.com.au).

Indigo Business Innovation Manager Bernadette Mitchell-Armstrong said the working relationship continued to flourish, with her most recently recruited staff making a positive contribution to the BIT team.

“It’s been so worthwhile developing a relationship with the AIM team”, Mrs Mitchell-Armstrong said.

Their hard work has contributed to us being finalists in the Social Impact category at the INCITE awards in August, which is a great acknowledgement of the support AIM has provided to NED."

Mrs Mitchell-Armstrong said Indigo would continue to work together with the Association for relevant staffing needs as they arise.

“We are really proud of our partnership with AIM and the valuable staff they have provided us to date and will certainly be knocking on their door again whenever our staffing needs align.”
