What does a Physiotherapist do?
22 June 2022
A Physiotherapist is an expert in the structure and movement of the human body.
Working with people of all ages, physiotherapists diagnose and manage conditions relating to the bones, muscles, cardiovascular system, nerves, and other parts and systems of the body to restore and improve mobility, function, and wellbeing.
Physiotherapists take a whole-body approach and develop customised programs which may include exercise, massage, stretching and equipment and devices to achieve individual goals.
At Indigo, our physiotherapists can work with customers to improve their mobility, balance, strength, and endurance so they can do the things they want to do for longer and maintain their independence.
Our physiotherapists customise programs and educate our customers on how to create a safer home environment, falls prevention and pain management strategies and prescription, advice, and education on mobility aids.
