An Australian government initiative, geat2GO  is a funding source for people eligible for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and offers older people access to funding towards helpful devices and equipment each year, to help maintain or increase their independence. 

The aim of the service is not only to supply helpful devices and equipment but also offer support and advice to meet an individual’s independence goals.

Indigo is the national Goods Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT) provider, offering more choice and opportunity to deliver assistive technology (devices and equipment) items to older people across Australia.

The new geat2GO initiative will help close GEAT service gaps, reducing wait times (where an Occupational Therapist assessment is not required) and gives health professionals more options for sourcing items.
