Indigo Partners with McCusker Centre for Citizenship
Indigo has joined the more than 300 Not-for-Profit, community, non-government and government organisations who have partnered with the McCusker Centre for Citizenship which provides a quality internship program for students studying at UWA.
The internships are mutually beneficial, providing students the opportunity to gain real life experience and contribute to change, and providing organisations an opportunity to mentor and collaborate with future generations.
Our People and Culture and Business Innovation teams have successfully overseen three internships.
One project was streamlining the Exit/Off-boarding process, which included creating forms and collecting and collating data from exit interviews to help better inform and target future employees and improve organisational culture.
Other projects included assisting in the development of our organisation’s first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) under Reconciliation Australia; and diving deep into NED (National Equipment Database) creating an engagement strategy and templates for building relationships with associations and organisations related to ‘Awareness Days’ aligned with Indigo.
Having enjoyed such high quality and engaged students, Indigo is looking forward to a new intern, who will be joining the Business Innovation team to work on a project in the change management space.
