Making the Most of Pictello

Build your skills in using communication tools and create visual stories for your clients or loved ones with our interactive workshop on the Pictello app.

In this 2.5hr workshop participants will gain greater skills in using the Pictello visual story app. Participants will gain skills to:

Identify the variety of purposes Pictello could be used for in your setting
Compare the differences between ‘wizard’ and ‘expert’ modes
Practice creating books including adding photos, videos, text and different voice options
Import free, online books from Tar Heel Reader
Access further resources to support yourself and others to maximise the use of Pictello.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own device with Pictello and a selection of photos and videos to use when practicing making a story. If not possible, a small number of Indigo devices may be available.
