Indigo (formerly Independent Living Centre WA) is a national organisation with head office located in Perth.  Our operations span the whole of Australia, with staff located in WA, NSW, and QLD.  We are a leading provider of Assistive Technology (devices and equipment), home modifications, therapy, and professional education. We provide tailored allied health and AT solutions to people with disability, seniors, carers health professionals and educators. Through our customer-centric services we aim to achieve greater independence and inclusion for all. 

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a communications specialist with a passion for storytelling and a flair for content development to help create a positive profile and increased awareness of Indigo and drive uptake of our services.

Working out of our Nedlands-based office as part of the Marketing and Communications team, this fixed-term position covering parental leave is a job share arrangement with the role focused on sourcing, developing and delivering engaging content to promote brand awareness and generate leads across all Indigo services, using multiple channels for promotion. 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in developing and delivering brand, marketing and communications strategies
  • Outstanding copywriting skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in producing EDMs and database management
  • Experience in website content management and SEO activity
  • Experience in social media channel management, content strategy and campaign delivery
  • Experience in creating video and image-based content including use of editing software.
